Our New Albany, IN office has an internship available for the Summer of 2024. The internship will provide an opportunity to assist engineers with construction inspection services on a variety of municipal infrastructure and roadway projects. Duties will include assisting with site surveying and documentation of construction activities, computing quantities, and verifying measurements and layouts on project sites.

Position Requirements

• Jr. or Sr. level standing with declared major in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents.
• Ability to compute quantities and verify measurements and layouts.
• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work productively with all project stakeholders.
• Previous experience using CAD software (AutoCad, Civil 3D) is desired.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel & Word)
• Valid driver’s license is required.
