Our Champaign, IL office has an internship available for the Summer of 2024. The internship will provide an opportunity to assist engineers with construction inspection services on a variety of municipal infrastructure and roadway projects. Duties will include assisting with site surveying and documentation of construction activities, computing quantities, and verifying measurements and layouts on project sites.

Position Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED is required; Enrollment in an A.S. degree in Construction Technology or a related field is preferred.
• Solid understanding of general construction practices; surveying experience is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to maintain detailed daily logs and follow through on outstanding punch list items.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work productively with all project stakeholders.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to project sites as needed.
